Freeway Slide, 1968

Date: 1968. In the words of a commenter on Flickr, where I found this photo: "This is I-75/85, (the downtown connector) facing south, just south of the 5th St. bridge. It looked like this until they widened it in the '80s." If you look really closely, you can see blue-domed Polaris restaurant (above the red truck facing the camera) which had opened the previous year.
