Piedmont Park Boat House

The structure known as the Piedmont Park Boathouse is seen here in a circa 1920 picture (and below in a couple of 2012 photos). Originally built in 1910 as a "Comfort Station" according to the park's website, the structure underwent a complete restoration that was completed in 1996 and today the building serves as the Piedmont Park Visitors Center. Scroll down to see how things look from this angle today. The contemporary image is a good example of why winter is the best time to take pictures for this site, as trees now block much of the original. Also included is a more useful shot of the building from a different angle.
