Cotillion Courts motel

This postcard shows the Cotillion Courts motel, which was located at 2200 Reynolds Drive SW - on the edge of the Polar Rock neighborhood and not too far from the old Lakewood Fairgrounds. The property is amazingly close to the interstate, just a few yards east of the Downtown Connector on the south side of Langford Parkway. (Google map) Before the highway engineers did some redesign work, interstate travelers could pull directly off the highway and onto the Cotillion Courts property. These days, that's no longer an option and is probably one of the reasons that the place has been closed for many years.
