At the left, Eastern Airlines built a new hangar on the site of the 1948 terminal, while the Eastern Airlines Terminal and 1932 terminals are still standing near the end of concourse F on the right. In this photo, the propeller airplanes still outnumber the jets by about 5 to 1, a ratio that would change dramatically in a few short years." |
