One of
Atlanta's great architectural treasures, Terminal Station,
can be seen in this 1960 photograph showing the intersection
of Mitchell Street and Spring Street. Unfortunately, this elegant
structure, completed in 1905, was demolished in 1972 to
make way for the Richard B. Russell Federal Building, which can be seen in the lower photo. Top photo courtesy of the
