Marriott Marquis Hotel

This aerial view postcard features the Marriott Marquis Hotel, located at 265 Peachtree Center Avenue, which opened for business in 1985. The Marriott was built on the same site as the old St. Joseph's Hospital, which can be clearly seen here. The 1898 Frances Hotel, which was torn down in 1988, can be seen directly across the street from the twin spires of the Sacred Heart Church, which was completed in 1897 and is still standing.
