This postcard, from approximately 1966, shows the view looking north from I-75 and I-85 toward downtown Atlanta. The text on the back of the postcard (superimposed in the upper right corner here) identifies the First National Bank (now known as the State of Georgia Building) as the tallest building in Georgia, a honor it claimed from its completion in 1966 until 1976, when the Westin Peachtree Plaza surpassed it.
