This aerial postcard shows downtown Atlanta in about 1965. In the lower left corner, we see that the First National Bank building, which is now known as the Wachovia Bank of Georgia building, a project completed in 1966, was still under construction. Also, in the distance we can see that the ground has been cleared for the Atlanta Civic Center, a project that was completed in 1968. Thumbnails of many more aerial view postcards can be found here.
