Apparently that restaurant has ALWAYS served barbecue. The photo on the right, taken when the restaurant on that site was an Old Hickory Inn, probably dates back to sometime around the early 1950's. At some point after that, it became the Old Hickory HOUSE, until the early 1990's. After being closed for a short while, it became Big Greg's Barbecue, which lasted a few years. Following that, it was re-opened as yet another barbecue joint, Rockin' Rob's. Rockin' Rob's lasted for a couple of years or so and it closed again, only to re-open as Maddy's. Yep, Maddy's is a barbecue restaurant.
