ParkGrounds coffee shop

This photo of a former Gulf station is hand dated 1979 on the back. I'm not sure what year the station finally closed up for good, but today it's the home of ParkGrounds coffee shop (142 Flat Shoals Avenue SE), which is in the Reynoldstown neighborhood. This is at the north end of Flat Shoals Avenue, a few hundred yards north of I-20. Google map

It was a nice touch that ParkGrounds retained the original sign and simply updated it to reflect the fact that it had converted to a new business. On the other side of the building is ParkGrounds' spacious off-leash dog park, which is pictured below.
