Frank Mansfield (Warren Oates) is seen here walking toward his family's homestead of Mansfield. I was unable to figure out the location of this shot. It seems extraordinarily likely that it was filmed very close to downtown Mansfield, which was used for the shots in the film that immediately precede this one. Given the film's low budget and fast-paced shooting schedule, it's very unlikely that they decided to travel a great distance to get a shot of Oates walking down the road in the same clothes he wore in the downtown Mansfield shots. I asked several locals if they knew where this was and had no luck. Anyone know where this is?
