Rhodes Hall (the mansion on the right, which is only partially visible) at 1516 Peachtree Street.  This building used to serve as the Georgia state archives building.  The ground floor is now operated as a museum, showcasing its high-Victorian interior finishes. A series of painted and stained glass windows reflecting historic events of the Confederacy surrounds the carved mahogany staircase.  The ground floor is also available for rentals for private functions.

Rhodes Hall at 1516 Peachtree Street, 101 years after being built in 1903.

The movie theatre in the photo above survived until the 1980's, serving for many years as a revival house in the pre-home video years.

The huge freeway ramp visible in the background is the ramp taking motorists from West Peachtree Street to the downtown connector.
