BACK TO GRAHAM JACKSON THUMBNAILS 60 White House Drive SW This postcard is where I originally learned of the existence of an Atlanta replica of FDR's Little White House in nearby Warm Springs. Curiously, even though the street was renamed (from Abbott Street) to honor the presence of this house, I have never seen any Atlanta history or reference books mention this architectural curiosity. For those interested in checking it out, it is can be found one block south of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and is directly across the street from Booker T. Washington High School, the first high school in Atlanta built for black students, which opened in 1924. Incidentally, Jackson served as Musical Director at Washington High School from 1928 - 1940.
