Candler Road & vicinity aerial

Here's an undated aerial photo showing Candler Road, south of downtown Decatur. According to Wikipedia, Toney Elementary School, which can be seen in the photo, opened in 1953 and it photo appears to have been taken during the final stages of construction or perhaps shortly thereafter. So, 1953 or 1954 is probably a reasonable guess as to when this picture was taken. The photo comes to us courtesy of Leonard Thibadeau. Google map
