Seen below is a late 1970s postcard showing the Peachtree Plaza hotel's atrium. What's most amazing about it is the fact that it captures the somewhat brief time that the atrium featured its own lagoon to lend an air of exoticism. From what I've heard, the lake was drained a few years after the hotel opened in 1977. This amazing postcard comes via my pal Ward Binns.
