This 1971
photo looks south along Peachtree Street, packed with
cars, pedestrians and retail establishments, toward Margaret
Mitchell Square and, in the distance, Five Points.
That's Peachtree Street on the left and Forsyth Street
branching off to the right. The lower photo,
via Google Maps, shows a much less energetic street
