Parking garage for Trust Company Bank (now SunTrust) at the corner of Edgewood Ave at Equitable Place. On the left, is the edge of Atlanta's original Equitable Building designed by the noted Chicago architecture firm of Burnham and Root, and built in 1890 for developer Joel Hurt, who was also responsible for the nearby Hurt Building. The 8-story steel-framed Equitable Building was demolished in 1971 make way for Trust Company's expansion plans. Here is a better view of the Equitable Building. If you look closely at the right hand side of the photo, you can see the garage pictured on this page. Date: 10/27/53
