Decatur Street

Reader Don H sent in the photos seen here, which look northwest toward Five Points from Georgia State University's open-air walkway over Decatur Street. The top photo was taken in 1976 and beneath it is a photo taken in October 2009. Today the painted mural visible in the 1976 photo is still there, but its visibility is greatly obscured by GSU's Natural Sciences Center, as can be seen in the bottom photo (via Google Maps Street View).
